Wegmans consistently stands out as the best place to get groceries in my area (and there are many places to get groceries). The produce is the best. Berries are so much fresher and sweeter than anywhere else around. They also stay good for longer. I'm a busy working mom and am a huge fan of their pre-prepped gold pan dishes. We love the veggie sides, lobster mac and cheese and chicken parm. But really all of their gold pan dishes can't be beat and I've never tried anything bad. They have a huge meat and fish selection, awesome bakery and a ton of other pre-made food like fried chicken, grain bowls, pizzas and sandwiches. I often bring my kids here for some pre-grocery shopping dinner - I love how they have kids sized tables and chairs and my kids love that there is a TV. Okay also I randomly love their spray sunscreen which is a good value and has an incredibly strong spray. Ditch your old sunscreen and try this out! Overall, I spend way too much of my money here but my family really loves their food and that's worth it to me!

Quintessential Wegmans. The grand opening featured a packed parking lot. I happened to sneak into a spot somewhere on the side with the bonus of parking under a shaded tree. That said, this Wegmans has been open for a while now. It still gets quite busy at times, similar to the other supermarkets in the area. However, since the open hours are a reasonable 6am to midnight, going on the off hours makes shopping here a breeze. However, this location lacks night-owl shopping hours. There are a few entrances to this Wegmans. There is main entrance where they store the shopping carts, and where they have automatic sliding doors. They also have an entrance towards the prepared foods area. And they have an entrance on the side where they sell alcoholic beverages. Note that after a certain time at night, only the main entrance will be open. Depending on how busy Wegmans is, my parking preferences are: (1) side entrance lot, (2) main entrance lot, but closer to L.A. fitness, (3) anywhere else. As for getting to the Wegmans parking lot, there are a few options. Most people would take the I-287 exit to Rt 10 West and hang the first right, follow the road, and turn into one of the three (four?) entrances to the lot. If you were heading east on Rt 10, it'd be advisable to take the Dryden Way route vs the Ridgedale Road jughandle. If I-287 south is swamped, the Entin Rd can work wonders. Anyways, back to Wegmans: this Wegmans has 3 checkout areas. If you're impatient with few items, you can try the main checkout or self-checkout lanes, the checkout lanes by the burger bar, or liquor store checkout. Do note that the side checkout lanes close after a certain time at night. If you enter at the main entrance you get dumped out to the produce section directly in front of you, with the bakery and prepared foods / desserts / food bar area to the right, and the checkout lanes to the left. Speaking of food bar, if you'd like to grab food, you'll need to get there before 6 or 7 pm, otherwise the staff will be aggressively removing food that has stayed out for 3 to 4 hours due to regulations. This has happened several times to me in the past--wanting to swing by to bring home some dinner, but realizing it was gone (or close to gone). The options at the food bar appear to be more varied than at ShopRite Morristown or other Whole Foods in the area, but it still pales in comparison to the Whole Foods located at Fair Lakes (in Fairfax, VA), which is a gold standard for supermarkets considering the prepared foods aspect (yes, you could get ramen, cooked-to-order seafood, gelato, etc at that Whole Foods). There are a couple seating areas adjacent to the liquor store and prepare foods area. The prepare foods area contains burger bar, pizza station, and sandwich station from what I recall. A refrigerated beverage case exists in that area too. Pharmacy: the pharmacy is located near the main checkout lines. The meat, cheese, olive section is after the produce section (walk deeper into the store from the entrance) and towards the right. One nice thing Wegmans offers is individually sealed portions of meat--buy a pack of say 8 steaks, then cut and separate the packaging into storage vs what you'd like to use now or soon. Bathrooms and ATM: they are located by the checkout lanes between the main entrance and customer service. They have a floral department, but I can't recall ever encountering it. Overall, it's a good option for groceries and decent for prepared food. Yeah it's pretty spacious inside. You can purchase alcohol in the special area of the store set aside for that. Can get swamped with people during busy times. Good for late night supermarket strolls if you're into that kinda thing. Offers Family Packs (for meat and other items). Generally quite clean and well maintained. Staff are generally quite pleasant. Has multiple entrances, multiple checkout areas, bathrooms, an ATM, pharmacy, and food areas. They also offer catering.

I love Wegmans - it's my favorite grocery store chain. This location is great. Nice size parking lot where you actually have space to back out and not feel like you're in a sardine can. Store itself is always clean and stocked. Everyone who works here is NICE. I love their sub station - way better than any Subway. I also like the lighting in this store. Most grocery stores have fluorescent lighting and my eyes get so tired from the bright lighting. But Wegmans has soft lighting and it's actually relaxing. I don't mind moseying around in this store. I usually stop here after the gym (LA Fitness is across the street). Great place!

From the cashiers to the people in produce to the other staff who help me find my items everybody is very nice and kind. I first shopped at Wegmans when I began working out at L.A. Fitness. Wegmans is located in the same complex so it is convenient to shop there or eat. Wegmans is more than a supermarket, they also have a designated Bakery, Burger Bar, Sandwich Shop, Sushi Station, Pizza Station, coffee bar, deli, buffet and prepared foods area. This is a large, airy, clean store with wide isles. The lighting is upbeat and the staff is well trained in hospitality or could they be born friendly and helpful? They have a sitting area with large windows, sofas and chairs as well as tables. Additionally, Wegmans has an eating area with wood tables and chairs. I like their truffle pizza, upscale burgers, coffee bar and baked goods. As far as grocery shopping is concerned, I am selective in what I buy since I find their prices higher than Shoprite. I have their app, check their weekly coupons and discounts, and promotions. I like to cook at home so I pick up food items here at rimes.. Wegmans brand products are quite good and competitively priced with other large chained grocers. Their fruits and vegetables always look good.

Stopped on the way to a weekend visit and wanted to grab some quick snacks to give the hosts. The place is huge! Plenty of really interesting cheeses and other appetizer type crackers and nuts. We quickly looked through some other interesting aisles. If we lived in the area we would be at that store every day!

This is a review of their bakery department. I needed a vegan cake, and they had them in Belgian chocolate. Surprisingly, they get them frozen, and simply thaw them in the fridge. I got the 7" cake, and they wrote on it while I waited. I didn't have high hopes for the taste or texture, but Megan, the bakery manager, said that if you didn't know it was a vegan cake, you wouldn't be able to tell. She was 100% correct - the cake was amazing! We'll definitely be back to try other cakes as well!
